This soup was to die for. I went to the food pantry and they gave me a bag of pea. First thing first, make sure to rinse them good, wait until the peas are soft to add on salt and seasoning. Adding salt at the beginning will not soften the peas quick and it will take a long time. Add double the water of the peas, it’s like making lentil beans.
I added smoke bone, chicken bouillon, Sazon and a little bit of Adobo. I don’t measure, I just go by when I think is enough. Everyone salt intake is different.
